Milk Poached Smoked Cod

Serves 2


  • 2 cod fillets

  • 568 ml of fresh milk

  • Peppercorns

  • Chives

Cooking Method:

  1. Place milk into a pan and heat (you can add some flour to thicken and some white wine to flavour if you prefer)

  2. Add crushed peppercorns

  3. Add cod and poach for approx. 5 minutes

  4. Serve cod with the sauce drizzled over it

  5. Serve with pointed cabbage, seasoned mashed potato, and french mustard

  6. Garnish with chives
